When purchasing high-pressure gas storage equipment, safety is not a bonus—it's a threshold requirement. The rated working pressure of the CNG tube bundle skid is 25 MPa (250 bar). At this pressure level, it is classified as high-pressure special equipment in most countries. Every step—import customs clearance, insurance coverage, local special equipment registration—will ask the same questions: What safety protection devices are installed on this equipment, and what happens if something goes wrong?

I. Pre-installed safety devices on the equipment

When Huayan's CNG tube bundle skid leaves the factory, the following safety accessories are already integrated into the skid frame; the buyer does not need to source or install them:

Displays the gas storage pressure of each tube bundle in real time, readable by operators or remote systems.

Thermometer

Monitors gas temperature to prevent pressure fluctuations caused by abnormal temperature.

The design logic of the entire safety system is: prevention first (real-time monitoring via pressure gauges/thermometers) → automatic handling when abnormality occurs (safety valve) → final backup if safety valve fails (burst disc) → rapid manual isolation when needed (emergency valve). Four defense lines with progressive response.

II. Pressure verification before shipment

The effectiveness of these safety devices has been verified before shipment through two mandatory pressure tests:

Both tests are completed before shipment, and test reports are provided upon passing. Buyers can use these reports to apply for registration with local special equipment authorities or as part of import customs clearance compliance documentation.

III. What to do in the event of overpressure or leakage?

The equipment's response logic is explained below using actual scenarios:

· Overpressure scenario: Gas temperature rises, causing pressure to increase → Abnormal reading on pressure gauge → Safety valve automatically opens to relieve pressure → Once pressure returns to normal, the valve automatically closes. If the safety valve fails and pressure continues to rise to 37.5 MPa → The burst disc ruptures, providing directional relief through the discharge port (≥ 20 mm), preventing the cylinders from withstanding excessive pressure.

· Leakage scenario: A leak occurs in a pipeline or valve → Operator detects abnormal pressure drop → Manually triggers the emergency valve to isolate that section of pipeline → Locate the leak point, replace seals, perform a re-pressure test, and resume use after confirmation of qualification.

· Daily monitoring: Pressure gauges and thermometers continuously display the gas storage status. Any abnormal reading can be addressed before it becomes hazardous.

The above response logic is based entirely on the equipment's mechanical safety design and does not rely on additional electronic control systems. This is especially important for remote unattended stations.
